Looking for something fun and educational for your children in September?

The summer holidays are both a time of excitement and stress. It’s great to spend more time with your family enjoying the sun. Then comes the” Back To School” dread and the return to routine etc. We at Starburst Theatre School look forward to starting a new term of Learning New Skills from September to December. We work towards a Showcase that specialises in presenting each new skill that we have learnt.

Planning activities for kids can seem a bit daunting, especially as the life of a parent never slows down. On top of that, it’s always nice to know that they’re learning, developing and enjoying activities with other children as they have fun. So, finding something that ticks all the boxes becomes a priority and a challenge.

Enrolling your children in a dance, singing and drama group can help them build in confidence, express their creativity, learn more about some key skills and make friends, all while you get a bit of time to yourself. As they play, rehearse and learn new skills, they can work towards a performance that will not only make you proud, but give them a sense of achievement at the end of the term.

Drama teaches children more about social situations and interactions. They learn through play about how people behave and how the world works, whilst putting themselves in the shoes of others and understanding a range of perspectives. Then, in dance, they can discover a passion for music and movement whilst burning off some energy. In addition, singing can offer them the assurance that their voice should be heard.

Starburst Theatre School creates a safe and friendly environment to explore the talents of students that range in abilities. Our diverse group means that they can work with absolute beginners to experienced students and help them overcome any challenge, all while having fun and interacting with others. We love to help quiet children who don’t feel like they fit in to meet others and become comfortable and proud of themselves, as well as help kids who love to sing learn how to sound even better.
